Corrections

Accuracy matters most when someone is relying on a page during a power problem. If we get something wrong, we want to know, and we will fix it openly.

How to report an error

Use our contact page. Please include the page address, the statement you believe is wrong, and if possible a source (a standard, manual or specification). Reports about safety-related content are reviewed first.

What happens next

  • Safety errors (anything that could lead to injury, fire or equipment damage) are corrected or the passage is removed as soon as the problem is confirmed.
  • Factual errors (wrong figures, outdated settings, incorrect specifications) are corrected after verification, and the page's update date changes.
  • Clarifications (correct but confusing wording) are made as part of normal editing.

Material corrections are recorded in the log below with the date and a short description of what changed. Typo fixes and minor wording edits are not logged.
